Vantage to offer veterinary asst. classes

Vantage Career Center Adult Education, in partnership with Boston Reed College, will be offering a new veterinary assistant’s program, starting in April 2013. The program combines 35 hours of instruction with a 24-hour volunteer experience in the local area.

Some features of the program include

• Course completed in five weeks
• Financial assistance, including loans arranged through Boston Reed
• Earnings average $11.75 per hour for veterinary assistants.

A free informational meeting will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in Vantage’s Cup and Saucer dining area.
