Mercer County makes drug arrests

CELINA — Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced the indictment and arrest of seven people on drug trafficking charges. All charges result from an investigation by the Grand Lake Task Force, a combined effort of law enforcement agencies in Mercer and Auglaize counties.

The Celina Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office and the task force with the apprehensions.

Those arrested include the following:

  • Spencer Kouts, 21, c/o Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, three counts of offenses involving counterfeit controlled substances, all fifth-degree felony offenses; one fourth-degree count of offenses involving a controlled substance; two counts of offenses involving unapproved drugs, both felonies of the fourth degree; and one count of unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance, a felony of the fifth degree.
  • Zachary Sams, 23, c/o Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, one count of trafficking in heroin, a felony of the fifth degree, and one count of possession of heroin, also a felony of the fifth degree. Sams was served while in Jail on February 22.
  • Danny M. Griffith, 40, of Celina, two counts of offenses involving unapproved drugs, both felonies of the fourth degree; two counts of offenses Involving unapproved drugs, both felonies of the fifth degree; one count of trafficking in drugs (Alprazolam, Schedule IV Drug), a felony of the fourth degree; and one count of trafficking in drugs (Alprazolam, Schedule IV Drug), a felony of the fifth degree.
  • Beth Griffith, 36, of Celina, two counts of offenses Involving unapproved drugs, both felonies of the fourth degree; and one count of trafficking in drugs (Alprazolam, Schedule IV Drug), a felony of the fourth degree.
  • Alan Bricher, 30, of Coldwater, one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs (Psiocyn, Schedule I Drug), a felony of the third degree and two counts of trafficking in marijuana, both felonies of the fourth degree.
  • Bradley Fischer, 19, of Celina, three counts of trafficking in marijuana, all felonies of the fifth degree.
  • Jessica Siefring, 22, of Celina, three counts of trafficking in marijuana, all felonies of fifth degree.
