Foundation gives to Fair Board

The Van Wert County Foundation recently awarded a grant of $1,000 to the Van Wert County Agricultural Society for entertainment and events at the annual Van Wert County Fair. The grant was made from the Charles E. Eggerss Fund. The grant will be used to provide free entertainment and events at the 157th edition of the fair, which will be held Wednesday, August 28, through Monday, September 2.  Here, Foundation Executive Secretary Larry Wendel presents the grant check to Fair Board Director Ann Marshall.
