John A. Linder

John A. Linder, 86, of Delphos, died at 5:15 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

He was born March 12, 1926, in Delphos, the son of the late F. Pat and Pearle (Burt) Linder. On September 3, 1948, he married A. Joan (Rice) Linder, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include a son, Louis R. Linder of Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A son, Frank Andrew Linder, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos, with graveside military rites performed by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
