Ruler Foods now open

Van Wert Mayor Don Farmer is shown cutting the ribbon Thursday on Ruler Foods new store in the Summit Shopping Center on South Shannon Street in Van Wert. The store claims it will have the lowest milk and produce prices in town, as well as fresh beef, chicken and pork meat items, and will stock a large assortment of Kroger brand items, as well as national and regional brands. The store is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sundays. (photo submitted)
