Celeste C. Scheurich

Celeste C. Scheurich, 93, of Paulding, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Paulding County Hospital in Paulding.

She was born December 23, 1919, in Paulding, the daughter of the late Ralph Cress and Eva Lenore (Dowell) Hanenkratt. On December 23, 1941, she married William J. Scheurich, who preceded her in death on August 1, 2007.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Raymond) Carlisle of Paulding; a son, William “Bill” Scheurich of Paulding; and four grandchildren.

Three brothers, William and Ralph and an infant brother, Ralph; three sisters, Esther Payne and Wanda Rosebrock; and infant sister, Rose Marie, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish in Paulding. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Paulding County.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Masses or a charity of donor’s choice.
