Donald A. Schweller

Donald A. Schweller, 75, of Paulding, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Gardens of Paulding.

He was born January 12, 1938, in Ottoville, the son of the late Julian and Regina (Hilgers) Schweller. On September 30, 1961, he married Norma Jean “Jeannie” (Haunhorst) Schweller, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Todd Schweller of Paulding; two daughters, Lisa Clinton of Paulding, and Amy (David) Bleke of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, John Schweller of Delphos and Henry (Jeanette) Schweller of Ottoville; two sisters, Marie Ernest of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Francis Frothouse of Delphos; and six grandchildren.

Two brothers, Walter and Charles Schweller; and a sister, Anna Allensmeyer, also preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish in Paulding. Burial will follow in Paulding Memorial Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church prior to services.

Preferred memorials: Masses, Paulding High School music department or Community Health Professionals of Paulding/hospice.
