Venedocia Lions announce fundraiser

VENEDOCIA — The Venedocia Lions Club will be sponsoring its annual “all you can eat” Pancakes & Sausage Day on Saturday, March 16, at the Venedocia Lions building in that village.

Serving will be from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. and the cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 4-12. Those under 4 eat free. Carryout meals are also available, while 2-pound bulk sausage packages are also available for sale for $6.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for various Venedocia Lions Club community projects, including local food pantries, scholarships for Lincolnview and Spencerville seniors, donations to local 4-H clubs, Buckeye Boys State and Lincolnview Band Boosters.

The Venedocia Lions also accept used eyeglasses to be used for Lions Club International projects. Eyeglasses can be placed in the donation box at the Lions Club building the day of the Pancakes & Sausage Day.
