Blessings in Backpack fundraiser set

A pancake breakfast will be held this Saturday, March 16, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church on Jennings Road in Van Wert.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Blessings in a Backpack, a local program that provides supplemental food each weekend to more than 225 children in the Van Wert community.

This event is sponsored by a class of Van Wert High seniors. Presale tickets can be purchased at VWHS (419.238.3350) for $5. Tickets at the door will be $6. A child 5 years old and under can eat free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
