YMCA offers lifeguard training course

Show the world what you are made of: Be a lifeguard! The American Red Cross certification is recognized nationwide so a lifeguard can work anywhere in the United States, including the YMCA of Van Wert County.

Register today for American Red Cross lifeguard training … learn lifesaving skills to help keep people safe in, on, and around the water. Call the YMCA now through March 23 at 419.238.0443. Classes will be held on Sundays from 1-5 p.m., from April 7-May 19. High school students must be16 years of age by May 19 to have this certification.  Payment of $250 is due by April 14 and checks can be made to the YMCA of Van Wert County.
