Briana Coon Scholarship Benefit set

ROCKFORD — The Briana Coon Scholarship Benefit is finalizing its 2013 event.

“In the Breeze for Bri” will be held at the community building in Rockford on April 27. It will feature a poker run, silent auction, and live entertainment by the band Section Ate.

All proceeds go into the Leota Braun Foundation in honor of Brianna — two scholarships are given out each year. The poker run registration starts at 11 a.m., ride out at noon, Section Ate starts at 6 p.m., and silent auction goes on until 6.
