VW Outdoorsmen to raffle off AR-15

The Van Wert County Outdoorsmen Association is having a gun raffle for an AR-15 rifle to raise funds for range improvements. Tickets are available at BHS Guns in Ohio City and at D & D Armory in Van Wert or by contacting the club at vwoutdoorsmen@yahoo.com.

Tickets sales have been going very quickly, and those interested are encourage to get a ticket before they are gone. The winner will be drawn as soon as the last ticket is sold.

The club continues to make range improvements and encourages the community to check it out online at www.vwoutdoorsmen.info and visit the range for scheduled shooting events listed on the club calendar. Area youths are reminded to mark their calendars to attend this year’s annual Youth Day scheduled for Saturday, September 21, at the club. This is just one of the many scheduled events held at the club to provide a safe place for gun enthusiasts to practice and hone their shooting skills.

The club is also working on adding an archery range in the near future as it continues to grow.
