Betty Louise Bilderback

Betty Louise Bilderback of Van Wert died at 1:54 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born December 7, 1933, in Willshire Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late William Clarence and Ida Philippina (Giessler) Bilderback.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Barbara Bashore of Van Wert; a niece and three nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A brother, Paul William Bilderback; one sister, Helen M. Germann; and a brother-in-law, Lorenz “Dick” Germann, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, at St. Paul’s Reformed Church in America in Harrison Township, with the Rev. Chad Strabbing officiating. Burial will be in Evangelical Protestant Cemetery in Harrison Township.

Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Preferred memorials: St. Paul’s Reformed Church in America, Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center or a charity of donor’s choice.
