Samuel A. Wise

Samuel A. Wise, 63, of Van Wert, died at 1:18 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his residence.

He was born June 4, 1949, in Van Wert, the son of the late Robert and Clara (Schwartz) Wise. He married Morgan (Orr) Wise, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include four children, Todd Samuel Wise of Chillicothe, Shawn Wise and Eric (Kimberly) Wise, both of Indiana, and Spencer (Erika) Wise of Van Wert; two brothers, Jim (Brenda) Wise of Michigan and Jeff (Teresa) Wise of Convoy; two sisters, Julie (Steve) Youtsey of Ohio and Sara (Joel) Haller of Michigan; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
