Rachel L. Wyandt

Rachel L. Wyandt, 73, of Haviland, died at 8:58 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 9, 1940, in Dixon, the daughter of the late Elmer Ray Klinger Sr. and Evelyn (O’Bryant) Klinger. She married Robert Joseph “Joe” Wyandt, who survives in Haviland.

Other survivors include four children, Evelyn Craig and Fawn (Mark) Burley, both of Convoy, Angela (Stephen) Lay of Grover Hill and Melissa (Ron) Mengerink of Van Wert; three stepchildren, Robin (Bill) Roop of Scott, Lori (Troy) Kerns of Convoy and Lisa Baldwin of Van Wert; two brothers, Roy (Sue) Klinger of Green Valley, Ariz., and Rowland (June) Klinger of Marion, Ind.; two sisters, Ruby (William) Miller of Grove City and Naomi Rice of Niceville, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Elmer Ray Klinger Jr. and a brother who died in infancy; and five sisters, Ruth Crabill, Evelyn Crone, Rose Miller and two sisters who died in infancy, also preceded her in death.

No funeral services or calling hours have been scheduled.
