Lola Marie Woods

Lola Marie Woods, 90, of Convoy, died at 3:49 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born January 1, 1923, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Walter and Emma (Kiehl) Schaadt. On June 16, 1945, she married Charlie James Woods, who preceded her in death on August 20, 2009.

Survivors include two sons, Don E. Woods of Convoy and Bruce Woods of New Haven, Ind.; a daughter, Linda Boucher of Ellijay, Ga.; one brother, Dale (Ruth) Schaadt of Ohio City; two sisters, Pauline McGarvey and Fern (Harold W.) Miller, both of Van Wert; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Three brothers, Romy W. Schaadt, Norman Schaadt and Ervin Lee Schaadt; a sister, Virginia L. LeValley; and one grandson, Jason Woods, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Gregory Leigh officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
