T. Franklin Ferrell

T. Franklin Ferrell, 91, of Grover Hill, died at 8:03 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born August 16, 1921, in Ritchie County, W.Va., the son of the late Raymie and Edith (Burdiss) Ferrell. He married Maxine (Matthews) Ferrell, who also preceded him in death.

Survivors include three children, Allison (Earl) McClure of Payne and Tom (Brenda) Ferrell and Leslie (Binal) McClure, both of Grover Hill; a son-in-law, Dick Stahl of New Haven, Ind.; one sister, Betty Gilroy of Victor, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

A daughter, Maureen Stahl; two brothers, Charles Ferrell and Lee Ferrell (in infancy); and a grandson, Bryan Ferrell, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, April 3, at Grover Hill Zion United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Waldron officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

Calling hours are from 10 a.m.-noon at the church.

Preferred memorials: Grover Hill Zion United Methodist Church, the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center or the Grover Hill EMS.
