Daniel Lynn Boroff

Daniel Lynn Boroff, 62, of Van Wert, died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born June 23, 1950, in Paulding County, the son of Wilma (Rau) Boroff, who survives in Defiance, and the late Loy Boroff. On April 8, 1978, he married Mary Alice (Jones) Boroff, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two daughters, Amanda M. Maple of Van Wert and Erin (Brendan) Coughlan of Sidney; a brother, Tom Boroff of Oakwood; one sister, Janet Holbrooks of Oakwood; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Jim Robbins officiating. Burial will in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, with graveside military rites performed by American Legion Post 346 of Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at the funeral home.
