Capturing images of nature’s most beautiful creatures has been a passion of Joel Sartore for many years. His interest in nature began in his early childhood and has since taken him across the world to every continent with one mission: to reveal to his audience images of hopeless endangered species and plant life that might ignite a movement to help save them.

National Geographic magazine has published Sartore’s masterpieces of image and text for the past 20 years, including “The Company We Keep: America’s Endangered Species” and “Rare: Portraits of America’s Endangered Species”. Not only will his images truly impress his audience, the stories behind his pictures are sure to electrify everyone in the attendance.

Sartore will be presenting his lecture at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center Sunday, April 21, at 3 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $20 for adults and $10 for students, with a 10 percent group discount for groups of 10 or more. Tickets can be purchased in the Niswonger Performing Arts Center box office Monday- Friday, between noon-4 p.m., or online at www.npacvw.org.
