Salvation Army given donation

Van Wert American Legion Post 178 donated $200 towards The Salvation Army dinner and auction.  Shown are (from the left) Post Service Officer Louis Ehmer, Major Arthur Barter of The Salvation Army, and Legion Post Commander Ken Schutz. The Salvation Army will hold the fundraiser on Thursday, May 9, at the Van Wert County Council on Aging.  Dinner will be at 6 p.m., with the Auction starting at 7 that evening. Tickets are $10 each, and proceeds benefit the services of The Salvation Army. (Legion photo)
