Ribbon cut on VW Memorials

Van Wert Mayor Don Farmer and Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce representatives helped Mike Sellers and Diane York, new owners of Van Wert Memorials, formerly Swan Memorials, 625 S. Shannon St., cut the ribbon on their new business on Thursday. The monument business, which first began operating as Van Wert Monuments in 1940, is open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays, while appointments can be made after 5 p.m. by calling 419.238.9067.
