Jilda Mae (Searfoss) Yoh

Jilda Mae (Searfoss) Yoh, 64, of Van Wert, died at 2:21 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 31, 1948, in Lima, the daughter of Evelyn (Mettler) Knuth, who survives in Middle Point, and the late Lester Searfoss.

Other survivors include a son, Toby Yoh of Ligonier, Ind.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 10 siblings, Jessie (Danny) Chesbro of Van Wert, George (Toni) Searfoss of Haviland, Ernest (Kathy) Jewell of Defiance, Evelyn (Don) Mercer of Antwerp, Edward Knuth and William Knuth, both of Middle Point, Sonny (Lorna) Jewell of Texas, Kitty (Tom) Brown of Indianapolis, Ind., and Helen (Dick) Richardson of Delphos.

Two children, Annette Farris and Norman Yoh; and four siblings, Darlene Dawson, Robert Jewell, Jacque Jewell and Charles Searfoss, also preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Pioneer Christian Ministries Church in Grover Hill, with the Rev. Charles Oliver officiating. A meal will follow the service at the church.

There will be no calling hours.
