Charles Bardo

Charles “Chuck” Bardo, 80, of Delphos, died at 4:45 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born November 17, 1932, in Delphos, the son of the late Nick and Marcile (Herring) Bardo. On June 7, 1957, he married Billie “Skip” (Teman) Bardo, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include two daughters, Melanie (Larry) Morris of Delphos and Elaine (David) Trentman of Landeck; a sister, Betty Kimmett of Delphos; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

An infant daughter, Brenda Lee Bardo; one brother, Carl Gene Bardo; a sister, Mona Lou Wisher; and one grandson, Bradley Trentman, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos, will graveside military rites performed by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the funeral home.
