Shannon J. Vann

Shannon J. Vann, 33, of Ohio City, died Tuesday evening, April 30, 2013, at her residence.

She was born June 8, 1979, in Hampton, Va., the daughter of Penny (Raudabaugh) Wilson, who survives in Fort Wayne, Ind., and Kenneth C. (Sheila) Johnson, who survives in Van Wert. She married John F. Vann, who also survives in Ohio City.

Other survivors include a stepmother, Terry Johnson of Van Wert; maternal grandparents, Martin and Alice Raudabaugh of Van Wert; paternal grandparents, Bill and Mildred Johnson of Middle Point; two sons, Conner and Spencer Linn of Ohio City; two stepdaughters, Alayna Vann of Auburn, Ind., and Cheyenne Van of Convoy; one brother, Nicholas A. Johnson of Van Wert; and a sister, Kendra A. (Matt) Smith of Broadview Heights.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at the house of Vernon and Rene Hundley, 101 Mill St. in Middle Point from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, with a celebration of life starting at 11 a.m. that day. The Rev. Bill Baxter will officiate.
