Lancer softball team defeats USV

McGUFFEY — The Lancer softball team travelled to Upper Scioto Valley Wednesday evening and came away with a 12-0 victory in five innings.

Courtney Gorman earned the victory, going three solid innings and giving up only one hit. She struck out two batters.

Offensively, Kaitlyn Brant went 2 for 3, with four runs batted in, while Baylee Neate and Julia Thatcher each collected two hits, with Thatcher driving a double to the fence.

The Lancers are back in action today as they face the Allen East Mustangs in a Northwest Conference game at home.
