Westwood Apartments open

Former mayor Louis Ehmer and Mayor Don Farmer together cut the ribbon on the new Westwood Senior Apartments on Westwood Drive on Friday as stakeholders in the project look on. The new 32-unit apartment complex, which is tailored to those 55 and over, is more than three-quarters full, with a good chance it will be full in the near future. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
