Queen show will end NPAC season

Enjoy a musical extravaganza like no other when “The Music of Queen” – a rock and symphonic spectacular, plays at The Niswonger Performing Arts Center this Saturday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m.

This is the biggest Queen Rock show you are likely to experience with over 70 performers on stage featuring the Lima Symphony Orchestra, a full rock band and stars from the West End smash hit musical We Will Rock You.

Queen is one of the most influential British Rock bands of all times and has sold millions of records worldwide.This is area residents’ chance to hear the iconic legendary songs in a completely new symphonic score.

“Simply stunning” and “breathtakingly awesome” are just some of the words used to describe this concert experience, and the musical arranger, Richard Sidwell, has done an incredible job of expanding the original Queen arrangements for rock band to include a full symphony orchestra.

Post-concert excitement continues at The Black Swamp Bistro on Main Street, where concert attendees are welcome to finish out a night on the town.

It’s a rock and classical rave, it’s a party night and it’s a chance to hear songs such as “It’s a Kind of Magic”, “Radio Ga Ga”, “We are the Champions” and “Don’t Stop me Now” like they’ve never been heard before.
