Wassenberg project progresses
Wassenberg Art Center received a donation (above) from Van Wert Federal Savings Bank to cover the cost of refurbishing the metal front door of the former Van Wert Armory building. Larry McClure of Delphos will be doing the work, which is expected to take between four and six weeks. Shown are (from the left) Wassenberg Executive Director Hope Wallace, Gary Clay of Van Wert Federal, Van Wert County Foundation Executive Secretary Larry Wendel and Wassenberg Office Manager Matthew Temple. Below, workmen construct a stage in the main exhibit hall at the armory. Wallace said renovation work on the project should be completed somewhere around the first of August.
