YM swim registration begins Monday

Registration for the upcoming summer swim session at the YMCA of Van Wert County will begin May 20 through June 1.  This will be a three-week program, with Tuesday sessions on June 11, 18 and 25.  Registration fees for this session are $10 for family members, $15 for youth members and $25 for potential members.

“The Y provides the most up-to-date American Red Cross approved swimming and water safety program,” stated YMCA Aquatic Director Martha Martin. “It keeps a fun atmosphere, while combining the best in swim instruction with an even stronger emphasis on drowning prevention and water safety — ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the water safely, regardless of age or skill level.”

All YMCA classes are taught by Red Cross-certified Instructors with over 120 years of combined aquatic instruction experience.
