Lions help out in city park

Upon finding out there would be no concessions at Smiley Park for the school-sponsored spring ball games, due to the destruction of the concession stand last year by vandals, the Van Wert Lions Club “stepped up to the plate” and offered its French Fry trailer and manpower to the Van Wert Parks to insure there were refreshments on the grounds for fans and players alike.
