Ruth Fox

Ruth Fox of Celina and formerly of Rockford, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the age of 96.

She was born August 10, 1916, in Mount Morris, Pa., the daughter of the late Cassius and Mary (Jeffries) Wade. She married Raymond “Boss” Fox, who preceded her in death on May 4, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Jim (Phyllis) Fox of Celina; a brother Marion Wade of Mount Morris, Pa.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 2-4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Immaculate Conception Elementary School.
