Knight runners in regional track finals

PIQUA – Several members of the Crestview High School track and field team have advanced to Saturday’s final rounds of the Division III Regional Track Meet.

They include the boys’ 4×200-meter relay team, which includes freshman Isaiah Kline and sophomores Preston Zaleski, Malcolm Oliver and Zack Jellison, which is seeded fourth after running 1:33.47 in the preliminaries. The time is a new Crestview school record and personal record for the Knight relay team.

Also in the finals on Saturday are Kline, who is seeded sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.801 seconds, and sophomore Mycah Grandstaff, who is seeded second in the 3200-meter run with a preliminary time of 9:50.75.

All running events will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Alexander Stadium in Piqua.
