Anna Kathryn Clouse

Anna Kathryn Clouse, 87, of Ohio City, died at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 27, 1925, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late William Victor and Esther Edna (Gause) Hurless. On July 27, 1946, she married Kenneth Earl Clouse, who preceded her in death on November 25, 2008.

Mrs. Clouse was a homemaker and a member of Ohio City Community Church of God. She was a 1943 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 346 in Ohio City.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Earl (Donna) Clouse of Van Wert and Carl Duane (Lori) Clouse of Ohio City; a daughter, Paula June (Dennis) Felver of Hamilton, Ind.; five grandchildren, Nathan (Katie Hilden) Clouse, Kevin (Jane Schlegel) Felver, Josh (Kelly Crosson) Clouse, Christopher Clouse, and Kim (John Reitz) Eickholt; and three great-grandchildren, Cora Rose Clouse, Griffin Joshua Clouse and Liam Dean Felver.

A sister, Crystal June Book, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 14, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
