Convoy business relocates

Members of the Convoy Business Association recently welcomed Convoy Tastee Freeze at a new location at 117 S. Main St. in the village. For more than 50 years, Convoy Tastee Freeze was on the corner of Main and Tully streets, starting in 1960, when Ollen and Bonnie Jones rented the building to Paul Pancake and he started an ice cream shop. Over the years, the names and owners have changed, with Clair and Cindy Harting the present owners, but the ice cream parlor continues to provide a place of employment for high school students.
