Marji Ann Long

Marji Ann Long, 77, of Van Wert and formerly of Ohio City, died at 10:21 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born April 1, 1936, in Akron, the daughter of the late Orval Henry and Anna May (Callahan) Edwards. On June 2, 1956, she married Robert E. Long, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Mark (Stacie) Long of Van Wert; one daughter, Kay Wheeler of Van Wert; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

A brother, Ronald Edwards; one sister, Jeanne Bard; and a granddaughter, Nevaeh Ann Long, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14 at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the funeral home, where an Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be held at a time to be announced.
