Mich. man charged with old break-in

A Michigan man was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of breaking and entering for a break-in at the Family Video store in Van Wert several years ago.

Thomas Hathaway, 28, of Grand Rapids, Mich., entered a plea of not guilty to the fifth-degree felony charge during his arraignment Tuesday in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court.

Hathaway was ordered held without bond since he is currently an inmate in a Michigan prison. He will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 26.
