Pitt Stop crash photo

Van Wert firefighters work on a vehicle that crashed into the former Pitt Stop restaurant early Saturday morning. The crash did serious damage to the former restaurant building, as well as damaging a utility pole and some signs. According to Mark Klausing, who takes care of the property, insurance adjusters and contractors will be at the site this morning to estimate damage and cost to repair. (Van Wert Police Department)
