WREN — Activities and events are being planned for this year’s annual Wren Homecoming celebration, to be held August 15-17 in the village.

Businesses or organizations wanting a purchase a banner to be displayed in Wrenway Park can email jmdavis@woh.rr.com.

Girls ages 1-10 can vie for the title of Wiffleball Princess/Junior Wiffleball Princess – just call for an entry form or email payton.davis@ymail.com.

Sign-up for the Wiffleball Tournament will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, August 1, at the Wren Restaurant in downtown Wren. The first 15 teams to signup will compete with 2012 tournament winner MKS Siding. Last year, teams waited more than 140 hours to sign up. Camping will be available again this year, as well.
