Duane R. Grothause

Duane R. Grothause, 42, of Van Wert, died Monday, July 15, 2013.

He was born August 2, 1970, in Lima, the son of Norbert Grothause and Dorothy (Miller) Grothause, both of whom survive in Delphos. He was married to Maria (Mora) Grothause, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include five children, Joe (Jessica) Quevedo, Richard Quevedo, and Eric Quevedo, all of Columbus, and Domonique Grothause and Adrianna Grothause, both of Van Wert; a brother, Chris (Jane) Rode of Delphos; and four sisters, Annette (Terry) Ralston of Spencerville, Genean (Doug) Corwin and Laurie (Steve) Casebolt, both of Lima, and Peggy (Tom) Williams of Delphos.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Father Dave Ross officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at the funeral home.
