Debby Boone concert tickets go on sale

Vancrest Health Care Centers welcomes Debby Boone in her highly acclaimed show, “Swing This,” to the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio stage on Sunday, October 20, at 3 p.m. Tickets are now available at the Niswonger.

Since the 1970s, when the Grammy Award-winning song, “You Light Up my Life”, hit the charts, Debby Boone has created her own success in the music genres of Pop, Country-Western and Gospel. Now, her latest endeavor takes her back to the Vegas strip of the Sixties when her father, Pat, headlined shows. Classic swing tunes with a “killer band” backing her recreates those exciting days. Add to this all of the charts of great jazz vocalist and Debby’s late mother-in-law, Rosemary Clooney, and get an incredible show: “Swing This!”  This Sunday afternoon concert will be quite memorable with one of America’s most endearing ladies of song and TV.

Debby Boone is featured as part of the Community Concert Series that also includes The Sonos Handbell Ensemble, The Toledo Symphony featuring Rodgers & Hammerstein, and The Voices of Unity Youth Choir. Community Concert Series events are presented by Vancrest Health Care Centers and underwritten by Slusher’s Jewelry, Taylor Auto Sales Inc., Stephanie Dawn, Central Insurance Companies, Van Wert Hospital, and Bob Evans Restaurant.

Tickets are $30 and may be purchased beginning Thursday, July 18, starting at noon, by visiting or calling the box office (419.238.6722) or online at www.npacvw.org.  Box-office hours are noon-4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Tickets can be ordered online to avoid busy phone lines.
