Janet Eileen Peters

Janet Eileen Peters, 84, of Delphos, died at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born November 26, 1928, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Oscar and Frieda (Gehres) Kiehl. On February 4, 1951, she married Donald L. Peters, who preceded her in death on September 2, 2011.

Survivors include a son, Dennis (Pam) Peters of Prospect; one daughter, Donna (Mike) Porter of Paulding; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

A son, Jeffrey Peters; and two brothers, Arthur Glenn Kiehl and Clifford Eugene Kiehl, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy, with the Rev. Michael Saylor officiating. Burial will be inn IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, July 27, and an hour prior to services Sunday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Redeemer Lutheran Church of Gideons International.
