Raft race participants

A few “good ol’ boys” from Van Wert recently participated in the Three Rivers Raft Race during the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Ind. The “A-Billys” (Alan Art, Andy Tracy, Adam Brower and Craig Black) successfully completed the two-mile course in a converted Chevrolet Astro van that looked suspiciously like the “Mystery Machine” of Scooby-Doo fame. They received third place in their division. The A-Billys also thanked all their supporters, with special thanks to Ohio City Auto Salvage for lending them a “really cool raft build.” (photo submitted)
