John Denver tribute

John Denver (actually, Ted Vigil) was in Fountain Park on Friday to sing some of his favorite songs, along with backup singers and Steve Weisberg (above), a guitarist who performed with Denver during tours conducted in the 1970s. Denver’s popular songs, such as “Rocky Mountain High”, “Sunshine on My Shoulders,” “Thank God I’m a Country Boy,” and “Annie’s Song,” had the large crowd (below) singing along.
