AYBT tourney runners-up

The Van Wert Cougar AYBT summer team concluded its season at the national tournament in Fort Wayne, Ind., on July 17-20 as runner-up in Division 2.  The Cougars lost to the Champaign Heat in the championship game 60-58. The team’s tournament record was 8-1 and it ended with an overall record of 19-5. Members include (from the left) Matt Bidlack, Kyle Keber, Julian Salinas, Connor Holliday, Davis Munroe, Joey Moreland, Michael Smelser, Elijah Wortman, Brandt Henry and Nick Keber.
