Syndi Thatcher has won the girls 12-13 year old Elks State Soccer Shoot and will be competing in the Mid-Atlantic Division Soccer Shoot on March 8, 2014, at Frederick, Md. She is representing Elks Lodge 1197 in Van Wert.

To get to the regional shootout, Syndi had to win the local and Findlay District soccer shootout competitions, as well as the state soccer shootout.

Local Elks lodge members wish Syndi good luck and know she will represent their lodge well.
