Florence E. Stuckey

Florence E. Stuckey, 94, of Van Wert, died at 9:05 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born March 18, 1919, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Marie (Schmidgall) Bauer. On April 24, 1946, she married Charles Graydon Stuckey, who preceded her in death on December 9, 1987.

Survivors include a brother, Art (Jeannie) Bauer of Van Wert; two sisters, Lucille Hulwick of Denver, Colo., and Gloraine Stelzer of Defiance; and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Herbert and Robert Bauer, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Phillip Zielinski officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Preferred memorial: Donor’s choice.
