CONVOY — Crestview High School and Middle School officials have set informational meetings for the 1:1 computer initiative for students in grades 7-12.
All students will have access to a computer to use during the school year, with an option for students to take their laptops home for schoolwork through the payment of a $40 non-refundable fee.
The administration is hosting the following meetings to discuss this program with parents and students:
- Wednesday, August 21, at 6 p.m. — Students in grades 8-9 will meet in the high school gym along with any students who were unable to attend the 10-12 graders’ meeting on August 14.
- Monday, August 26, at 6:30 p.m. — Seventh-graders will meet in the auditeria for orientation and 1:1 computer program information. Any 8-12 grade students who were unable to attend a prior meeting may attend.
Following each orientation session, parents will have the opportunity to sign and complete the 1:1 laptop policy document and pay the $40 fee. This fee may also be paid during the regular workday, beginning August 19.
If parents have students in two or more grade levels, they need only attend one meeting.
