Cross Over The Hill, the off-campus release time Bible teaching ministry offered to Van Wert Elementary School students, is set to begin its second year of ministry this September.

Completing the initial year with more than 600 students participating weekly in Bible classes, the Cross Over Hill Board and teachers eagerly look forward to the Lord’s continued blessings this fall.

In coordination with the Van Wert Elementary School open house on Thursday evening, August 22, Cross Over The Hill will welcome new and returning students and their parents to the Bible Building, 10922 Ohio 118, just to the east of the elementary school building.

Once visitors have completed their visit to the elementary school, they are encouraged to walk or drive over to the Bible Building, beginning at 6 p.m., to be greeted by Cross Over The Hill Board members and teachers and to become re-acquainted with the facility.

Release time classes will begin Wednesday morning, September 4, and normally meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the school year.

Teachers Caralee Campbell, and Sarah Hostetler comprise the full time staff, and will be ably backed-up by trained and experienced substitutes the Rev. Keith Stoller and Roberta LePage.

Additional volunteer adult escorts, who safely escort students to and from the Bible Building and stay with students in the classes, are needed.
