Ian Geoffrey Miller

Ian Geoffrey Miller of Van Wert died early Friday morning, August 23, 2013, at his residence.

He was born November 10, 1982, in Van Wert, the son of Kay L. (Felger) Miller, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Carl E. Miller.

Other survivors include two brothers, Carl B. Miller of Olympia, Wash., and Zachary E. (Stephanie) Miller of Van Wert; two nephews, Dylan and Gavin Miller; and a niece, Arwynne Miller.

His grandparents, Junior Lee and Ruth Ellen (Davies) Felger and Carl R. and Jacqueline (Bayles) Miller, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Miller was an employee of D & D Ingredient Distributors Inc. in Delphos, a 2002 graduate of Lincolnview High School, and a member of Elks Lodge 1197, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, and American Legion Post 178, all of Van Wert, and Amvets Post 698 in Middle Point.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Donor’s choice.
