Advance fair ticket sales end this week

The Van Wert County Fair reminds the public sales of advance tickets for this year’s fair end this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Six-day fair admission tickets for $18 as Season (non-voting) end at 5 p.m., Wednesday, August 28. Membership tickets (voting privilege) end at 5 p.m., Tuesday, August 27.  Season tickets are available at many retail locations throughout Van Wert County and at the fair office.  Membership tickets are only available at the fair office.

The fair office will continue to sell tickets for the James Otto concert to be held in the Grandstand, Saturday, August 31, at 8 p.m.  Grandstand tickets are also available for the Michindoh Truck & Tractor Pull, Cheerleading Contest, Heavy Weight Horse Pull, Demolition Derby, Horse Harness & Running Races, and the High School Band Show. These tickets remain on sale at the fairgrounds up to the time of the event.

The Fair office is open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9 a.m.-noon.  The Van Wert County Fair dates are Wednesday, August 28, through Monday, September 2. Contact the Fair office at 419.238.9270, by email at vwfair@bright.net or at its website at www.vanwertcountyfair.com.
